Beta service

Footing is currently a pre-release product provided for evaluation and feedback. Features may change, be unavailable, lose data, or stop working while we test and improve the service. Do not use the beta as your only record of important health or movement information.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

Movement safety and medical information

Footing provides general fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Running and exercise involve risk. Pay attention to your surroundings and condition, stop if you feel pain or illness, and consult a qualified professional before changing your training when appropriate. Do not interact with the app while doing so would be unsafe.

Acceptable use

You may not use Footing to:

• break the law or violate another person's rights;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or exploit another person;
• upload content you do not have permission to use or share another person's sensitive information;
• interfere with the service, bypass safeguards, or attempt unauthorized access; or
• use automated means to abuse the app or waitlist.

We may restrict or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Grounded Motion Labs LLC a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Footing and provide features you request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, safety, or legal retention.

No purchases in this beta

Footing Plus purchasing is disabled in the current beta. Footing will not start a trial, charge a subscription, or ask you to restore a purchase. If commerce is introduced later, applicable store terms, pricing, and renewal information will be shown before a charge can occur.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Footing or join the waitlist.

Feedback

Feedback is optional. If you share ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them to evaluate and improve Footing without an obligation to compensate you. Profile → Settings → Beta support can generate a sanitized on-device report; it is shared only when you choose to send it.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue beta features and may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
